In PSHE, we have been drawing what is important to us. Here are some brilliant examples below!
In English, we have been learning the art of persuasive writing. We are currently writing a brochure advertising our eco-friendly hotel “Tri Lanka”. In this piece of writing, we will be using relative clauses, imperative verbs, rhetorical questions, a range of sentence types, apostrophes, semi colons, adverbial phrases, fronted adverbials and much more! Soon we will be writing a letter to our local MP. In this letter we will be persuading our local MP to make more substantial changes to help our local area fight against climate change.
In topic we are learning about sustainability. As part of this topic we will be learning about how we use energy, make energy, how we can reduce the amount of energy we use and what will happen if global warming continues. Please remember to complete your topic homework which is based on sustainability.
This term we have been learning about the Romans. One of our lessons included making Roman shields!
In English, we have been looking at different newspapers to identify the key features of a newspaper article. Along with this, we have also been collecting key facts about the eruption of Mount Vesuvius, which we have used to write our very own newspaper articles.
